What are You doing for Your Heart?

Maintaining healthy blood flow is crucial for optimal health.
Age, diet, and exposure to stress may eventually affect your
circulation and inhibit blood flow in your body.
Good blood flow delivers oxygen and vital nutrients to
your cells, tissues, and organs, keeping your body
working properly.

Create in Me a Clean Heart Oh God. Psalm 51:10

I chose Mark 12:30 as my bible verse for 2014
because I want to learn to serve God
with all my heart,
with all my soul,
with all my mind and
with all my strength.
I also chose this scripture because
I like that it says with all my strength.
Matthew 22:36-40  says;
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
 And He said to him,
“You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart
and with all your soul
and with all your mind.
This is the great and first commandment.
If the greatest commandment
is to love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul
and mind, I have to study God’s Word to
 learn what this truly means.
I need a clean heart to accept God’s Word.
Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart,
O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Ezekiel 36:26
And I will give you a new heart,
and a new spirit I will put within you.
And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh
and give you a heart of flesh.
God is the one who can create  a new heart in me.
He will remove my heart of stone
and give me a living heart of flesh.
Psalm 139:23
Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
Romans 8:27
And He who searches hearts knows
what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes
for the saints according to the will of God.
Proverbs 4:23
Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.
Matthew 5:8
“Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and he will make straight your paths.
James 4:7-8
Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands, you sinners,
and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Psalm 119:11
I have stored up your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,
teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom,
singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
                                              Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active,
                              sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing to the division of soul and of spirit,
                                        of joints and of marrow,
                                 and discerning the thoughts and
                                        intentions of the heart.
God is the only one who can give me a clean heart.
He is the only one who can remove my old heart of stone.
Father keep my heart from any evil
so that I will live with You forever.
Father, create in me a clean heart
and make me like You in all my ways.
Father, I pray that I will love You and
You only with all my heart, and all my mind,
and all my soul.
Father I do not want to love any other God but You.
Father, please make Your living word dwell in my heart,
my mind and my soul all the days of my life.
Father, I please remove any unworthy thoughts
from my heart, soul and mind.
Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
Thank You for creating a clean heart in me God.
Thank you God for searching my heart and
 knowing my ways and thoughts.
Thank you for revealing Your will to me
through Your Holy and inspired word.
In Jesus Most Holy Name I pray, Amen.

Is Our Heart Prickly or Filled with The Spirit?

Genesis 6:6 (NASB)
The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth,
and He was grieved in His Heart.
James 4:8-9
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you
Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts,  you double-minded.
Psalm 51:10-13
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
And sustain me with a willing spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners will be converted to You.
Hebrews 10: 16
“THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART,  AND ON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM,”
Hebrews 10: 19-22
Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Hebrews 13: 8-9
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace,….
1 Peter 3: 4
but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
1 Peter 3: 15
but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;
1 John 3: 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;
Revelation 2: 23
…and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

How can we maintain the Peace that Passes all Understanding?

When one works with four year olds there is never any down time. It really pays to stay a step or two ahead of them. This can be extremely tiring and mind boggling too.

I was really stressed after spending seven hours dealing with non-stop behavior issues. All the while trying to actually get some teaching done. Never mind the personal issue I have going on in my family.

I prayed about the bad attitude I had and the way I was feeling. I prayed for God to please help me be the light to those children that He wanted me to be. I felt better as I went to bed but I was still feeling bad about the ugly feeling I had and what it might have done to the children.

God spoke to me from His word the next morning when I opened my Bible to read scripture and pray for two High School students. I participate in Wall of Prayer where I read a scripture and pray for two High School students everyday to keep them covered in prayer.

The scripture was Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.”

This spoke to my heart to be sure to control the words and the tone of the words that come out of my mouth because they reflect the meditation of my heart. I must control them so they will be acceptable in the sight of the Almighty God whom I choose to serve. He is my Rock and my Redeemer whom I thank daily.

Until next time think about Romans 8:28 “We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who are called according to His purpose.
