My Attitude Has Stunk Lately!!!!

I have to remind my self of Philippians 4:7 often.
My attitude has really stunk lately.  I cannot feel the peace that passes all understanding when my attitude stinks . All I feel is a lot of unrest.
Some words really spoke to my heart as I was reading scriptures today.
Matthew 22:37
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind.
Colossians 3:1-3,5
(Speaking to those who have been baptized into Christ)
Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Set you mind on the things above, not on things that are on earth.
For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
v 5 So put to death whatever in your nature belongs to the earth…
Romans 12:2-3
Do not be conformed to this present world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
For by the grace given to me I say to every one of you not to think more highly of yourself that you ought to think; but to think with sober discernment as God has given to each a measure of faith.
Why has my attitude stunk lately?
Selfishness
Self-centered ambition
Thinking more highly of my self than I ought.
Not loving God more than myself.
Not loving God with all my heart, soul and mind.
Not seeking the things above where Christ is seated with God.
Not setting my mind above but setting it on the things of this earth.
Being conformed to this world.
Not renewing my mind with the Word of God.
What do I need to do about this stinking attitude?
Love the Lord God with all my heart, mind and soul.
Seek thing above.
Stop being selfish.
Stop being self centered.
Think more highly of others.
Love God more than myself.
Do not be conformed to this world.
Set my mind on things above and stay in the Word and Prayer.

Let Us Be Thankful

A lot of people are posting 30 days of Thankfulness on their blogs or Face Book page. I admire people who can do that but I just cannot keep up with posting everyday for 30 days.  So, I decided to write a single post of some of the things I am Thankful for.
 God
2 Samuel 22:50
“Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the nations,
And I will sing praises to Your name.
1 Chronicles 16:8
Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples.
Jesus Christ-Mercy and Salvation
1 Corinthians 15: 57
but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Peter 3:21
Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you–not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience–through the resurrection of Jesus Christ….
Family
Husband
Ephesians 5: 22
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,
Child
Proverbs 31: 28
Her children rise up and bless her; Her husband also, and he praises her…
Friends
Proverbs 18:24
A man of too many friends comes to ruin,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
John 15:14
You are My friend if you do what I command you.
Mother
Proverbs 31:28
Mother-In-Law
 Ruth 1:16
But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.
Even though I am most thankful for my Husband, Son, Sister,  Nieces, Mother-In-Law and extended family and many more things too numerous to name, I realize that only Two on my list really matter.
God and Jesus Christ are the Alpha and the Omega.
Revelation 11:13
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
Revelation 1:8
I am the Alpha and the Omega, “says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
So, what am I thankful for?
GOD and JESUS CHRIST
Acts 4:12
“And there is salvation in no one else;
for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Think About The Babies

Psalm 139:13-16

13

For You formed my inward parts;

You wove me in my mother’s womb.

14

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works,

And my soul knows it very well.

15

My frame was not hidden from You,

When I was made in secret,

And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;

16

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;

And in Your book were all written

The days that were ordained for me,

When as yet there was not one of them.

Exodus 20:13

New American Standard Bible (NASB)
13 “You shall not murder.”

How many abortions are performed at each stage of pregnancy?

The following table lists both the percentage of abortions performed during various stages of pregnancy, along with the total yearly abortions at each stage, based on a total of 1.2 million abortions per year (see above).
Gestational Age Percentage Yearly Total
Less than 9 weeks 61.8% 749,232
9-10 weeks 17.1% 207,312
11-12 weeks 9.1% 110,324
13-15 weeks 6.6% 80,015
16-20 weeks 3.8% 46,069
21+ weeks 1.5% 18,185

Let us not remain silent. Let us speak up for the babies that are being murdered every day and every year. They have no voice but we can be their voice. Let us get to the polls and speak up for the innocent so they may live to do something great for God.

Have You Ever Taken a Sabbatical?

Please continue to visit my blog  as I take a Sabbatical.

sabbatical is an extended time of rest—modeled on the Sabbath day—in which you take a long block of time to focus on something other than your career.
This will not be a restful Sabbatical. However, it will be a work that is devoted to God.
The concept of a sabbatical is rooted in scripture.
Starting in Genesis , God illustrates the natural rhythm of six days working, one day off.
Later, in Leviticus  the Israelites are told to let the land rest one year out of every seven.
During the seventh year, they’re allowed to eat what the land produces, but they must let it grow wild.  http://www.gospel.com/blog
I believe when I return I will have deeper and more meaningful blogs to post.
Thanks to everyone who is following me and continues to come to my blog for a visit.
I pray God’s blessing on each one.
