Saturday – Cooking Day
Help me, my Savior, to brew a big kettle of brotherly love
and serve it with clean, sweet bread of human kindness.
John 21: 17
He(Jesus) said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?”
Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, ” Do you love Me?”
And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You”
Jesus said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
2 Peter 1: 2-8
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;
seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness,
through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises,
so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.
Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith
supply moral excellence, and in you moral excellence,  knowledge, and in your knowledge,
self-control, and in you self-control,  perseverance, and in your perseverance,
godliness, and in your godliness,  brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.
For if these qualities are yours and are increasing,  they render you neither useless nor unfruitful
in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Titus 3: 4-6
But when the kindness of God our Savior
 and His love for mankind appeared,
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness,
but according to His mercy,  by the washing

of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

1 Corinthians 11: 23-32
For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you,
that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread;
and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said,
“This is My Body, which is for you;
do this in remembrance of Me.”
In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying,
“This cup is the new covenant in My blood;
do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.'”
Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner,
shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
But a man must examine himself, and in so doing
he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
For he who eats and drinks,
 eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the
body rightly.
For this reason many among you are weak and sick,
and a number sleep.
But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.
But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord
so that we will not be condemned along with the world.
Acts 20: 7
On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread,….

    I am just trying to let God work through me so I take no credit. I give Him the Glory that He deserves.
    I hope you will follow me and come back often.
    Thank you so much for your kind words. I hope you have a blessed week.
    Blessings,
    Shelia
