Just A Little More Introduction

Let’s Continue my Introduction

Let me begin where I left off. As I said before, when one has lived as long as I have, there are many tales to be told. I am only skimming off the top for this intro.

I will move on the health and wellness. I became a Health Educator because of the health issues I have dealt with for a major part of my life.  For years I did not even realize I had health issues. All of my life I dealt with one issue or another. Such as, low energy, heat making me feel bad, lack of quality sleep, depression, and so many more symptoms.

I was very young when the doctor discovered I had nodules in my thyroid gland. It quickly resulted in removal of my thyroid. The doctors thought it was cancer, it turned out to be benign. Just 4 months later I had a hysterectomy due to endometriosis.

These two issues caused a lifetime of maladies. Low energy caused from the lack of a natural thyroid. The hysterectomy caused its own set of issues. Not being able to take estrogen because the endometriosis flared up when I did. Hot flashes at 26 years of age and all the other symptoms that go along with the lack of natural hormones.

As you can see, I am no stranger to health issue. Nor are most of the readers of this blog. Everyone deals with their own set of health issues. As Tommy says, “The worse pain one has is the last pain they have.” Whatever we are dealing with at the time is the worst.

I never heard of autoimmune diseases until I was diagnosed with one. Then it became clear that I had been dealing with one or another autoimmune disease all my life. First one, thyroid nodules, second one endometriosis.  Next, a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, even though the test were not conclusive. Turned out to be aspartame poisoning.

For several years I went to my doctor with aching and swollen joints in my hands and feet.  They were swollen so badly that I could hardly use them, my doctor sent me to a Rheumatologist.

He asked several questions. Is your mouth dry? Yes, but I drink a lot of water. Are your eyes dry? Yes, but I have allergies. He did a couple of tests and diagnosed me with Sjogren’s Syndrome and Rheumatoid Arthritis. He said even though my blood work did not test positive for it, that was what I have.

I never really got were I felt good. I always struggled to keep going. This wears one down. Depression sets in and zero energy is normal. I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired. I went to a naturopathic doctor. After he listened to my long list of symptoms, he asks me if I had thought about going gluten free. I said I eat whole grain breads. He said you are giving yourself a good shot of gluten when you do that.

At his suggestion I went cold turkey gluten free. I cut everything out of my diet that had even the mention of gluten. I spent hours in the grocery store reading labels. I quickly lost 20 pounds and began to feel so much better. Guess what? When one cuts gluten out, they eliminate most sugars too. My depression went away.

For years I have not been able to take antibiotics. Everyone prescribed to me has caused a reaction. The last one I took resulted in three trips to ER and a 3 day stay in the hospital with hives.

My quest for many years has been to find natural products that will help or alleviate my health issues. I have not taken an antibiotic in 14 years. Have I been ill during that time? Yes, I have. I even had Covid 19 in July of 2020.

Each time I have an illness, I do a lot of research to find natural ways to alleviate it.  I have been successful in surviving Covid-19, bronchitis, sore throat, sinus infections, H-Pylori, gallbladder function, and even staph infection of the skin 3 times.

I am a huge believer in natural products as healers of most maladies.  This has led me to one of the best lines of natural products I have ever seen. I will write more about them the next time.

Thank you for coming and blessings for great health.

I left off with a list of health issues I have struggled with most of my life. I am sure that some of you can relate to at least one of those issues. As I stated, traditional medicine does not agree with my body. I have been forced to find natural, healthy ways to deal with my ails. I could go into great detail about all of them but that is not necessary. What is necessary is talking about how to make the some of the symptoms less. As well as why we need a healthy gut. So, that is where we will go today.

Let’s talk about what the photo above says. Did you hear what it says?

Every cell of every tissue, of every organ depends on the body’s DIGESTIVE SYSTEM.

Why? To provide the nutrients it needs to keep on functioning.

If this is true, are you getting the nutrients you need? I know that I was not. Later in life I developed stomach issues. After a trip to the ER and many uncomfortable tests I still had no relief.

Acid Reflux, severe pain in my stomach, and so many other stomach, gut related issues.

I was introduced to a natural plant based enzyme. I am so thankful that I was told about this product. All natural, not a prescription that I had already tried and it had all kinds of side effects. Hair loss to name one.
I for one will always choose the natural way over a prescription drug with a hundred side effects. But I encourage you to always consult with your doctor for what is best for you.

I will tell you that since I started taking this all natural plant based enzyme, my stomach issues are so much less. I am so thankful that I do not have the issues that I listed above as often.
