You will not be afraid of the terror by night,
Or of the arrow that flies by day;

God’s Emergency Phone Number for Security.

Angel Fire Ski Area Angel Fire, New Mexico

Psalm 121:1-8
The LORD the Keeper of Israel
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The LORD will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and forever.
The mountains refresh my soul because they remind me of the awesome power of Elohim who created them.
I guess you can say the sight of beautiful mountains reminds me of Psalm 121 and the reassurance of everlasting security.
The photo is one I took and I adjusted it with PSE.

Bathroom Make Over Matthew 23: 26

You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may become clean also.
This remodel reminds me of the above scripture.
What have we gained if we only make things look good on the outside?
We have to really dig down deep and clean the inside to make a lasting change.
I did not take the before-before picture of the bathroom.
I  started taking pictures after the workers had started.
I regret that because it looks quite different.
They took a two foot drop down ceiling out from above the tub area.
They took a 6 inch wall out from in  front of the tub
This allowed the tub to be moved  up.
This made room for the shelf at the back of the tub.
I love that shelf.
More pictures to come.
Have a blessed day.

God’s Emergency Phone Number for When We Grow Bitter and Critical

How can we remain bitter and critical
and lose confidence in people
when we read 1 Corinthians 13?
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angles,
but do not have love,
I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy,
and know all mysteries and all knowledge:
and if I have all faith,
so as to remove mountains,
but do not have love, I am nothing.
And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor,
and if I surrender my body to be burned,
but do not have love,
it profits me nothing.
Love is patient,
love is kind,
and is not jealous;
love does not brag and is not arrogant,
does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own,
is not provoked,
does not take into account a wrong suffered,
does not rejoice in unrighteousness,
but rejoices with the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
Love never fails;
but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away;
if there are tongues,
they will cease;
if there is knowledge,
it will be done away.
For if we know in part and we prophesy in part
but when the perfect comes,
the partial will be done away.
When I was a child, I used to speak like a child,
think like a child,
reason like a child;
when I became a man,
I did away with childish things.
For now we see in a mirror dimly,
but then face to face;
now I know in part,
but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.
But now faith, hope, love abide these three;
but the greatest of these is love.
